Hi all,

well, JMeter will not vanish. It is simply too useful and there are always some
persons doing some enhancements which they want to see incorporated. Therefore JMeter
will survive whatever crisis there might be at the moment. After all, that is just
anopther good reason for *open* source, isn't it?

It turns out to be a problem that Mike was the only active committer (and by far [very
far] the most active person) recently but that can change (and probably will change).
Nevertheless I think, JMeter really doe not fulfill the Apache statements about
Apache-projects and therefore probably should move to another place - like Mike
suggested. I personally would prefer Savannah.

Anyway: Whereever JMeter will be hosted and maintained in the future, I will
contribute to it, since it's a good tool, provided a lot of great work for me and was
fun having developed for. As recently posted I am not able to work on it right now,
but I will be able to do work for JMeter in the future again and I definitely will do
it.

Greetings,

Wolfram
