Hmmm. I click on Console and nothing happens. It is not showing an
'open/close' option, either, like I have seen before using 10.00.

Maybe it is best for me to start with how I installed? I followed the
instructions on jmol.org. Since I am not using it as a stand-alone app on
my computer, but instead wanting to use it as part of a webpage, I went with
option 2, which says to only get the Jmol.js file, and all files that start
with JmolApplet0 and end in .jar.

I just added ALL the files into my jmol 11.2.14 directory, and retested, but
it is still the same result. I will try redownloading and reinstalling now.
Let me know if you see something I've messed up here. Thanks,

Emily

Emily, you need to find your Java console and tell us what it says
there. My guess is that the file was not found. Something is a little
different, and the file you think is there is not there. Then the server
sends a file-not-found page, and Jmol reports "no atoms loaded" because
it isn't a recognizable format. I really doubt it's a Jmol 10/Jmol 11 issue.

You could just open a console from the Jmol popup menu and type

load "xxxx"

where xxxx is the file name you think is there.
