   This may just be me,but I think part of it may be that we associate a 
"Joni Mitchell" discussion group with people having at least fairly liberal 
views.we get a little shocked at contrary views.I guess it's hard for us 
leftists to be as open minded as we could be sometimes in accepting other 
points of view,and also getting beyond the stereotype that most people here 
are liberal politically.
