bob, i knew i could count on you to throw in a bunch
of suggestions.  i have ani's "dilate," but i never
was thrilled with it.  i'll definitely check out
"to the teeth."

also, i'm ashamed to say that i own NO patti smith,
not even "horses."  so i will buy "gung ho" out of
sheer embarrassment!  and respect for this woman's
integrity.

i'm lukewarm on joan osborne...but i've been intrigued
with listers' writing about emmy lou harris (again, with
"red dirt girl," i'd be catching a long-time artist
on the late side, to say the least.)  i will check it out.
