If you haven't heard Suzanne Vega's work in the 90s... pick some up!  Start
with "Nine Objects of Desire"-- and if you like that-- try "99.9�F".  Both
are incredible albums by an artst that has done great things since the
height of her popularity in the late 80s.  Suzanne has proven that she's a
great songwriter-- not just an 80s hit maker.  ;)

Don't forget 'Wrecking Ball'.  An amazing record.  I think Emmylou has
been on an incredible roll lately.  She seems to be at the peak of her
care, imo.  Wrecking Ball, Spyboy, Western Wall (w/Linda Ronstadt) and
Red Dirt Girl are all fantastic.

If you haven't looked into Laura Nyro, Emily, I strongly urge you to
do so.  She's one of the few artists that Joni considered to be a
peer.  'Christmas & the Beads of Sweat' is a classic!
