Thanks Kakki, Penny, Cassy, Jim, Debra and everyone who chimed in with insights on the
Mayall print. Very enlightening. When it comes to knowledge of all things Joni, this
list continues to be "the bomb."
It's clear to me now that the female figure in the painting is not our Joan at all.
Logic dictates that it's probably a piece she saw, admired and had named in her honor
belatedly by Mayall, which is still sorta cool, IMO.
So, now it's off to the L.A. mini-Jonifest! Looking forward to hanging with Kakki,
Kate, Darice, Nikki, Paz, Steve, Alison, Clark, Phyllis and various friends of friends
down there through the NAMM convention weekend. What fun! We'll be posting reports
of the goings on to the list periodically. Godspeed to everyone traveling that way
and peace to all.
