OK I'll bite. I've smoked tobacco and marijuana for
much of my adult life, and have done my fair share of
alcohol abuse. I hardly drink at all these days, and
haven't smoked tobacco for about a year. I've come to
recognise that I'm an addictive personality, and tend
to go over the top when I get into a new interest. Its
only within the last year or so after coming
frighteningly close to losing my wife to my addictions
that I have started to make a real effort to pace
myself.

We know that Joni was no stranger to drugs in her
younger days. I can easily believe that she chooses to
continue to use tobacco simply because she knows she
would need something stronger to fill the void if she
were to give it up.

Cheers, Ian
