I won't login to a forum ever day whereas I will read these emails and

available...

Better solutions are readily available. If the owners and masters of
the list are willing to delegate some authority. There are plenty of
list solutions out there, that accommodate upwards of 20,000 members.

Perhaps there are behind-the-scenes concerns about so many list members
and the volume of traffic, or the perception of SPAM from what might
look like bulk mailings. These can and should be nipped in the bud
by addressing the issue with the upstream provider.

Even if we had to migrate to a donation model in order to afford
premium services, where every member of the list kicked in a dollar
for hosting costs, that's $21,000.00 dollars. Versus the broken model
of a forum?

Someone, reality is knocking. Please pull your head out and answer
the knock.
