Anyone with an experience in launching a website under new company banner?
I am planning on launching a website and was wondering if I will have to start my own company for the copyright issues, etc.
Would muchly appreciate if anyone can share their startup experience.. and also of any good (and well, relatively less expensive) law firms in the Triangle area for doing this stuff?
Really it is the same as for any new business. You probably want to incorporate *if* a lot of money will be changing hands.
But you could initially do it under your own name, and transfer the asset later to a corporation, especially if there is a chance it might stay in the "hobby" category.
