Same is true for JNPR. We purchased the fastest REs available at the
time, and the RE scale was really not satisfactory enough. We didn't
particularly want to run VM, but at our scale we scarcely had a
choice. OP is indicating trivial scale, and it might be difficult to
trust in VM and it may create circular dependencies (you need VM up to
fix RR, and you need RR up to have VM) unless you build dedicated VM
setup, including separate batch management/provisioning so a single
mistake doesn't bring down VM and RR.
