Johan, Do you have any MX? We've run our RR as logical-systems on our MX gear for many years. This allows us to set a lean [aka, no bgp] based "routing-options -> forwarding-table -> export" to keep the FIB lean and a separate copy of RPD.
This costs time but not hardware or licenses [yet]. It may not be as performant as truly discrete OOB RR but for us has been a reasonable baby step. -Michael > -----Original Message----- > From: juniper-nsp <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Johan > Borch via juniper-nsp > Sent: Friday, December 5, 2025 4:05 PM > To: Saku Ytti <[email protected]> > Cc: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [j-nsp] BGP full mesh or route reflector > > Thanks, this is a quite small network at the moment.
