I wouldn't recommend saving all your emails on your phone and deleting from the server even if that was an option. if your phone is stolen, broken or you get a new one, all your emails will be lost. leave the emails on the mail server so that you can access them from anywhere. if you need to delete some mail (ie trash/spam) from the server, do it through a web interface.
