> I don't send html (aka "rich text") messages Rich Text (RTF) is NOT the same thing as HTML. Rich Text is a Microsoft proprietary encoding, and has traditionally been used as the default format for saving documents in Microsoft Office. It works well in corporate environments, where the IT estate is managed centrally, but does not work well on the internet due to its proprietary nature. HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) is an open standard, designed for implementing web pages. Neither has any place whatsoever in emails, and I wish that K-9 did not render (or permit composition) in either of these formats. -- Philip -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the K-9 Mail Users List.
