Interesting -- the things you learn. Thanks, this could be useful in general. It works that way, with various apps including K-9, on both of my samsung-note (android-5.x) devices (a phone and tablet), but on my samsung tab 10.1 (android-4.x) it brings up the list of installed apps. On a nexus-5 there doesn't seem to be support for a long-press on that hardware button.
