I am sorry, I didn't find them and when I clicked on a link you sent I got an
error message, error 401 or something. Same thing if I click on the standalone
link on your website.

If the video link session is a remote session I will have to decline, as I have
too much sensitive information on my computer. But... thanks for all your help
anyway.

Francisca

I wrote the step-by-step instructions on a computer with Windows 11. Kdenlive
runs very well on that. And the standalone version doesn't install Kdenlive but
simply extracts an archive (self-extracting ZIP, AFAIK). Granted, some of the
folders I listed may not be on your computer but the majority of the folders
and files are there. At the end of my instructions you should have a
kdenlive.exe in a folder that is working.

I am offering a video link session to walk you through this on your computer.
If you want to give that a try send me an email and we can find a date and time
to do this.
