I was in touch with some Icelandic KDE translators a while ago, regarding the
situation of software translated to Icelandic. Back then (november 2000),
there were almost no commercial Icelandic software available apart from
Windows 98.

How is the situation today? Is the Icelandic Windows translation updated, now
that Windows 98 is obsoleted by newer versions? Is there other software
available, like MS Office or MS Works? (Which would be *much* more useful for
schools than just plain Windows.) In some ways I hope the situation has not
improved, as it would prove my point very nicely ;-)

Please send me a copy of your answers, as I don't subscribe to this list.

Med helsing,
 Gaute Hvoslef Kvalnes
 Norwegian Nynorsk KDE translator
