The Windows translation was never updated. In fact, it was already part-way 
outdated by the time it came out and patches from MS could not be (reliably?) 
applied to the Icelandic translation. They were not translated to Icelandic 
either.

There was no other MS software translated. Some IBM software has existed in 
Icelandic for years and years, but nobody uses that, we're under the MS 
monopoly like everyone else. Opera has been translated, turned out that there 
was an Icelandic person working there.

Maybe others on the list want to correct this or add to it?
