i actually have this piece of crap. and im bounded with a 24 month contract.
on the contract that i have signed it states that i am aware that internet
speed may vary depending on my location. so, if you opt to terminate your
subscription because of its slow speed not reaching 384 as advertised then
it will not be a valid reason.

i tried pinging yahoo while surfing, 5 successive timeouts in a row, and
this happens almost every minute. this service sucks. i am viewing gmail in
plain html and would have to refresh all the windows i have opened all the
time. the only decent speed is during 12mn to dawn.

try calling for support. i called *1888 smartbro hotline. they told me that
the plugit device is handled by the *888 hotline because its a phoneline and
it has a phone number. so i tried calling *888 and the stupid operator told
me that they have no control over smart bro products.

i cancelled my call. i will wait in vain for then next 24 months.
