i actually have this piece of crap. and im bounded with a 24 month contract. on the contract that i have signed it states that i am aware that internet speed may vary depending on my location. so, if you opt to terminate your subscription because of its slow speed not reaching 384 as advertised then it will not be a valid reason.
i tried pinging yahoo while surfing, 5 successive timeouts in a row, and this happens almost every minute. this service sucks. i am viewing gmail in plain html and would have to refresh all the windows i have opened all the time. the only decent speed is during 12mn to dawn. try calling for support. i called *1888 smartbro hotline. they told me that the plugit device is handled by the *888 hotline because its a phoneline and it has a phone number. so i tried calling *888 and the stupid operator told me that they have no control over smart bro products. i cancelled my call. i will wait in vain for then next 24 months. 2008/1/25 earl lim <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > "pasmo kaayo bay duol ra kaayo ta og balay 2 blocks away tapos walay > coverage ang eastern telecom sa amo?!!? grabe ka way klaro =P this zoning > $hit doesnt make sense :P mas paspas pa ka both up and downstream sa akong > pldt. more than a year na ko subscribed to their 2mb plan and hangtod karon > ang pinakataas nako nga nakuha is less than 300KB downstream :( " > > > 300KB = 2400kbps i think is more than 2MB? > _________________________________________________ > Kagay-Anon Linux Users' Group (KLUG) Mailing List > [email protected] (http://cdo.linux.org.ph) > Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph > -- How many people can read hex if only you and dead people can read hex? - http://www.tildemark.com/
