Actually, it doesn't. All the web-searchable list archives have email addresses munged out of them for this very reason.
That said, it appears the "downloadable gzipped copy" of the archives does *not* have munging in place. I searched Google for your email address and there was only one hit - inside one of the gzipped LPSG archives from last June.
If that single hit is responsible for your spam, then sorry. I'll go reconfigure the list software to turn off the downloadable archives altogether - they're unnecessary as far as I can see. Hopefully that will solve the problem.
But it's a public mailing list, it shouldn't be a total shocker if your email address gets out. Nothing is stopping an enterprising spammer from subscribing to our lists and letting the addresses flow in as people post.
