I feel your pain. I bat .500 with Cox support. About half seem to understand that the issues are frequently not platform dependent. Even when they don't know Linux, we can work together by discussing our troubleshooting. For the stonewallers, just say, "I know someone there can help me, Ralph," (always get a name up front); "Can you put this call to that person, or should I just dial in again and explain that you couldn't help me?" It's worked for me. -- Lan Barnes [EMAIL PROTECTED] Linux Guy, SCM Specialist 858-354-0616 -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
