Outhouse and Winsucks? C'mon, aren't we past that? I'm pretty sure it ceased being funny years ago, and now simply induces eye-rolling.

For fun, first use of "Winsucks" I can find on Usenet was in 1994 by John Siracusa, now one of the excellent technical writers over at Ars Technica. It was posted in comp.sys.mac.advocacy in a debate about keyboard shortcut consistency between the OSes.

Searching Usenet for the origins of the word "Outhouse" is probably best left as an exercise for others. :)
