block certain protocols so it's harder to host a website. Personally I like SBC
DSL. The speed is great and they also have SBC Freedom link
(http://www.freedomlink.com ) which gives you acess to a bunch of hotspots for
only $2 a month.

I don't know what "freedomlink" is, but the URL you give just gets me
to the SBC AT&T Wi-Fi order page, where I could start to negotiate for
ordering service. Search for freedomlink using their search engine
gets me even farther into the service ordering, as they now want to
know my current phone number, and maybe also address.

Maybe Google can find more without trying to suck me in to an order page.

OK, "Freedom Link" was a SBC service mark, it has been replaced as a
service mark by "AT&T Wi-Fi". So it is not a meaningful term any
more, even if it is only $2/month.

< www.freedomlink.com > is redirected to somewhere else, namely
< http://www.sbc.com/gen/general?pid=5949 > which is the AT&T signup page.
