Maybe it has to do with my plan. I had a package for services such as call waiting, caller ID, etc. bundled with a certain amount of long distance. My bill was under $30.00 for several months (usually around $25.00). As soon as AT&T took over, I started to pay over $60.00 per month. The ~$25.00 package with SBC used to include long distance. Now it is only for the services and options, and the long distance is a separate package for ~$25.00.
Maybe I can find a better package, but I was very disappointed with they way I automatically got higher bills. - scottm -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Todd Walton Sent: Wednesday, December 13, 2006 7:04 PM To: Main Discussion List for KPLUG Subject: Re: Cable vs Phone Co. for Phone Service On 12/13/06, McClelland, Scott <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Since AT&T took over PacBell, my phone bill doubled. I didn't notice a bill increase after the merger/takeover. -todd, inquiring not stating -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
