Ever check your credit report? Ever try to get something false off it?

They are unaccountable and they act like it.

Actually, there is an outfit in Colorado that I hired to do just that. It is *incredible* the things they've cleaned off my reports (including things I didn't think could come off, including things *not* false).

They *are* accountable (though they *do* behave as though they are not). They are bound by laws that were passed to reform this very problem. And they can get into trouble if they do not adhere to these laws.

A quote from this Colorado outfit:
As with all reputable credit repair firms, we combine the expertise of veteran credit specialists with the firepower of top-notch attorneys. However, our experience goes far beyond a legal library, and our staff knows more about credit than most lawyers. While fixing your credit history is important and can be complicated, it seldom requires legal intervention to clean up errors in your credit report data.
