Correction, I did find a reference in a quick search:

But wasn't Yahweh kind of like an A.K.A because we weren't allowed to
pronounce the real name? Real question.
Yes. Instead of using the name Yahweh, they used 'El', Lord, as an
indirect reference. And, of course, the Allah variation of El ... .
