It's what they call their threading. I'm using Thunderbird now (not
for Gmail) and I have not seen this Gmail-style threading you speak
of. Am I missing out?
You can turn on threading in Thunderbird by using the menu View -> Sort
By -> Threaded (near the bottom of the cascded menu). Set the other
options as desired. It is especially useful for messages from the
mailing list :)
