This is true. And actually my partner will send sensitive info to my
Gmail account rather than hardboot. She more comfortable with the
slim possibility of a tech at Google happening to read her email than
with the somewhat more likely chance that mom or pop at my hoster will
read it. She's probably right.
Sigh.
If she's that worried about it, you would think that she might have
heard about PGP, GNUPG, etc. ...
