He also mentions using HTML in the signatures -- try inserting a <br>
and see if he strips those out when generating text-only messages, but
leaves in the newlines.

I was unaware of the HTML angle (or didn't realize it's importance and
forthwith forgot it altogether).
I am at a loss regarding the "McQuary-compliant" remark.
(But now I can start the cut and paste process between the KSig file and
what is to be my new sig file.)
