This may not feature the clarinet you seek. But it's still pretty good.

So is the somewhat excessive repetiveness of the music just a feature of
the limited capabilities of the guitar playings. Although, even the
drum is just playing a simple pattern over and over again.

I don't know. I just found it mildly enjoyable. I certainly enjoyed this more than the clarinet playing Flight of the Bumblebee a million times too fast without any heart.

It may be midi-syndrome. People who don't play an instrument tend to do
a poor job of making tracks for them, drums especially.

I don't know about that, but maybe not playing an instrument allows me to enjoy it more than if I did.

Isn't that a bit like "Maybe not being able to read allows me to enjoy listening to someone else read and enjoy it more than if I could"?

It may be true, but it's not exactly a talent. Of course, not being able to read is more of a disability than not being able to play music (which you probably can if you can carry tune - your voice is a musical instrument after all).

Don't' underestimate yourself - you may be a musician after all. ;)
