Dunno. My Linux install crashes way more often than my Windows install.

Well, yeah, me too. It's not like Linux is the paragon of reliability.
But enough flame war on the Linux PSG list. :-)
My Penguin RedHat Linux box at StockAlerts.com has been up
continuously since late 2001 minus 2 fuck ups by the colocation
company.
I never enjoyed using Linux on the desktop, but the two times I tried
it--for months at a time--my computer never crashed.
For what's it worth, XP doesn't crash on my either as long as I:
* use antivirus
* use antispyware
* use Firefox instead of IE
* stay up to date on patches (important for any op sys...)
My Mac also doesn't crash, but like Linux, I don't have to lift a
finger to get reliability.
Oh yeah, and: C++ SUCKS. :-)
Glad more people talk about that openly now. I was complaining in the
early nineties when it was very non-PC to say so. Too bad 99% of the
gaming industry uses it. :-(
One more:
JAVA SUCKS!
Hmmmm, that felt good.
I was thinking about getting that put on a T-shirt... Maybe wear it to JavaOne.
