Which, of course, you have to use to be interoperable with .Net.
I wouldn't think so. Depends on what you're trying to write. For
example, AFAIK, all the ASP.NET stuff is pretty much interoperable. If
you stay away from talking COM, talking to Windows, or doing
system-level stuff like reading syslog events, you're OK.
