If, in emacs, I don't remember how to *start* doing a search-and-replace, what do I do?
I guess it depends on what you are looking for. You could just do "M-x" and start typing "search" and see what shows up. You could do an "apropos" to find search commands. You could do a "where is" query to find out what short cut is bound to search-and-replace, or you could just type in "M-x search-and-replace" and let Emacs remind you what the short cut is. Oh, or you could go to the info pages for emacs and look for search and replace, but who wants to read docs when you can just get on with your work?
