I don't know and I don't care since I am a vi bigot ...

But I do recall Stewart once posting something about
a vi user's common habit of idly banging on <ESC> key.
Ever since you made that comment I find myself noticing
it when I do that ...

I also find myself ending a session in a word processor
with :wq
