Wow. You seem to have a lot of venom yourself, for something as academic
as a discussion of programming languages and operating systems.
Perhaps you could consider that maybe other folks *do* know what they're
doing and what they're getting into when they select a platform? Not
that I'm defending, or even using, C# and .NET at the moment. But
really, there *are* situations and systems for which it is a valid and
even best choice.
