I disagree. By voting to leave SDCS they also resigned from SDCS in
the bargain. You can't belong to SDCS outside the membership in an
affiliate SIG. That's the rules that SDMUG/SDCS board wrote!

As I said previously, you can't amend the Bylaws, without a vote,
under the current rules, which require physical presence. You can't
vote on anything without a quorom, minimum of either 100 people, or
20% of the membership.
