The more I look at it, the more I think it's better to turn off "Only
show the contents of the current folder" in nav settings, so that the
  Book Reviews, Contact KPLUG, Events, Groups, Jobs,
  Meetings, Members, Monthly Raffle, News, Photos,
  User Contributed Files, Wiki
entries _always_ show in the leftside nav-menu.

This probably puts it back closer to before NS cleaned it up. But with
the removal of deleted wiki pages from public view, and removal of wiki
pages from leftside nav-menu, maybe it's still a bit cleaner than before?

=> Q: other opinions?

Note: for logged-in members, the deleted pages shows up under recent
changes. Don't know if that's because deleted pages had its properties
changed, or whether it's always there for members? Do we want to hide
deleted pages from members? How?
