hi stef, thanks.  I really am interested to make a 3-blade solution on
my upcoming built\d.  yes the "coolness factor" is at play.  In other
words, Unless there were a compelling reason (significant performance
loss, or whatever engine I choose would be damaged), I'd pay extra for
that third blade.

Back in the day, RR offered a simple adjustable 3 blade composite for
the VW but they had problems slinging blades, as I recall. But they
looked very cool.

In wonder what brands are available and if the O-200 or corvair have
an available option.   The BMW you mention is also interesting, and
may be another possibility on my engine options list.
