whew! somebody touched a nerve.
I truely dont understand your points, phil. Denigrating some one because
they have a different opinion isn't exactly the way to win an argument.
On the point of panasonic falling behind. Look at the way they handle CID.
Maybe its not behind but having to use panasonic phones that cost 4-10X
POTS+CID phones blows. yeah, yeah, lots of great features but even my
dealer tries to steer me away from the KXT compatible cordless phones
(which I have to get for cordless+CID) because they have no distance. So,
I'm stuck with either shitty expensive cordless+CID phones or just sticking
to one good POTS+CID. I believe the logging of CID is screwy (lowest number
phone only) as well and I've heard of a lot of limitations with the TVSs
and CID. look at all the squirrely things people do to work around the
limitations.
selling a lot of systems is not the same as having the best. when there is
little competition, the leader gets fat and lazy. history is repleat with
lots of examples of the market leader getting knocked off by an upstart
with a better/cheaper/faster/smarter/hipper/... product. I'd definitely
root for the underdog in this case.
