2d skybox, no. You have to just either live with it, or modify the files
with a new name and add them to your map

You could make a model of a dome and texture it and maybe add moving clouds
etc. It is possible, but that should be done with a modeling program IMO.
And then place it as a dynamic model on the skybox. When you build it you
should  consider that buildings do not touch each other or it would not look
very nice
