Mine had a yeast infection in his ears twice.  And, he is only 6 months old.  Otirinse helps keep his ears clean and if  it returns, I only have to use the rinse a few times and it keeps it in check.  I have a tube of Dermagen which clears it up fairly quickly if it gets bad again.  My doodle is in the water every chance he gets and the floppy ears don't help.
