I saw one (Sonja, are you still on Arachne?) in an attache case. She'd made a lot of foam blocks of various sizes and filled the case with them. The two halves came apart (her modification, I believe) and then she merely unfastened the bobbins and started working. She carried it everywhere (we were on a lace tour of Malta) and anytime we stopped, she sat down and made lace. Really cool! Robin P.
