Hello Ruth,
 I think the success of the treatment depends on a couple of
things....
I know this and I did as described. By the way the stains have gone 
after washing the tablecloth as i always do. Ok next time I use perhaps 
nothing than washing or all the salt I can found in my kitchen ;-))))))
