Sorry I'm just catching up on this thread so I hope this applies. >From a report in the Bedfordshire Standard newspaper in May 1922 - English Lady Inglefield O.B.E. visited Bruges in March 1920 to study the system of teaching lace making. During the war (WW1) the school in Bruges had closed but reopened exactly four week after the invaders had evacuated on January 7th 1919. Diana in Northants
