Please! Why do European lace experts assume that people who speak and read English are not interested in the lace history of the countries where lace originated? The reality is that in terms of population, there are more people fluent in English around the world who would buy their books -- if we could read them! I have three Bruggeman books, and am only able to read one smaller one of 63 pages that is in English. If Belgium will be the location of the 2018 OIDFA Congress, as is rumored, may I beg of Belgians to listen to my plea and influence your authors and museums to publish scholarly lace books in English.
