I just tried to upgrade latex2html to v98 pat 1 (March 4) and I'm having
problems with the image conversion. As far as I can see, l2h produces a
images.tex file. This file is processed without problems (and, when
looking at the file with xdvi, each page has a figure on it). dvips also
works fine (at least, the resulting *.ps files all contain a figure, but
then I see:

And at the end of the document, I get a whole list of missing figures.
The document converts without problems under v97.1 so I guess that this
related to the upgrade. ppmtogif and all those are the latest version.
In v97.1, I had to change the variables $bbw and $bbh in pstoimg to be at
least 500x800. I tried that here too, but this doesn't help.
Any ideas?
