Lazarus should have released versions 2..7 and following, but the developers seem to think that a 1.0 version can be released only when all features of the latest Delphi release are implemented ;-)
This has been stopped by the release of Delphi XE2, whose new widgetset doesn't fit into the LCL. Perhaps a Lazarus 2 is already in preparation, compatible with XE2, and the work on 1.0 will be abandoned soon?
