Hi Dirk,
if you need very fast transfomations (particularly for 8bpp input), I recommend the IMDI routines from http://www.argyllcms.com/
On my Athlon XP 2600+ I could obtain approx. 14 Mpixel/s, for applying a precalculated 3D -> 3D device link, with 8bpp on the input side (for higher dimensions and 16bpp input, the speed of course decreases, but is still pretty good). The drawback is, it's not as easy to use as the LCMS API - you'll need to write quite some amount of glue code (but you can use the cctiff sources as example, and if speed really matters for you, it may be worth the effords).
Regards, Gerhard

Hi,
we work with littleCMS and are very happy about the results. But besides the color quality I'm interested in the performance. We measured a calculation time of around 400 ms using a 1 Mega Pixel picture. Knowing the calculations that have to be done I wonder if the performance is the best possible. I'm just interested if there will be some potential for performance optimization and does anyone has experience with other CMMs regarding the calculation time?
With regards
Dirk
