Lcms is first class. A CMM reimplementation will bring Mozilla a second 
or more likely thierd class colour management. I can only agree to Graeme.

* in the first time Mozilla will easily make lots of mistakes (lcms is now
   10 years and shows still bugs)
* polishing a not so important CMM, as the one for morzilla will be seen,
   will be short and unbeloved
The result will be adequate as they will likely not engage a colour 
sientist ;-)

CM is complex. Much like the X protocol it is not easy to reimplement 
over night.
Would'nt it be good to invite Mozilla developers to the OpenICC list to 
share colour management knowledge instead of expensively splitting 
activities. Please feel welcome:
