Hey! Someone might be interested in an assembly code software write-protect program for IDE devices that intercepts int13 calls (or something like that, I don't get it all) http://wcarchive.cdrom.com/pub/simtelnet/msdos/diskutil/protect.asm Download the file and read it. Very interesting. Not sure if anyone can make it executable on Linux though.
