I now understand why you were confused. Remember I am NEW at this. While reading,
I find there is an access point named Boingo. I do not know this until today.

I purchased an Orinoco gold card to use in a Windows XP notebook to test with. When
installing the drivers for the card, a program named Boingo was installed. It was the
Windows program named Boingo that displayed the messages I posted, and not a WDS
(whatever that is).

I am not trying to connect Wisp-Disp to any other access point (yet). However, I hope
to
setup a community network for a local university using Wisp-Disp. Eventually I will
try to
network several Wisp-Disp boxes.
